Shortly about us
The Son Golf League is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian golf league that began at Antioch Baptist Church in 1991 by Rev. Joe Frazier for the intended purpose of using the game of golf as an outreach tool to invite those who were unchurched to be a part of the Christian fellowship and to expose them to the Gospel of Jesus Christ in hope that they may be saved by Grace through placing their faith in our Lord.
Over the years we have been truly blessed by seeing many saved and our numbers have grown from a few to now having approximately 150 players in two divisions with churches from Elizabethton to Rodgersville in eastern Tennessee.
Our scholarship fund
We have established the Son Golf League Scholarship Fund where all monies collected after our operating cost are used to offset the cost of college expenses for students needing financial help by providing money for books, computers etc... We have also donated money to organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club.
Our ultimate purpose is to glorify the Lord by being obedient to His calling in our lives by following His commands: John 14:21
