Been a Very Hot Summer

I don't know about you guys and gals but playing golf in all this heat has shrunk my waist line by about 2"!! My oh my, I am looking forward to some cooler weather(not cold but cooler)!
Thanks to all of you for your attendance and patience during these hot days. Congratulations to Calvary for their win with a score of 54. Don't think the heat bothered them a lot!! HA!! Thanks again to Debby for all the good food and hard work she does on preparing for these tournaments!
Long Drive and Closest to the Pin winners are as follows: Long Drive = Red Tee = Angie Peters, Orange Tee = Marty Stewart, Gold Tee = Johnny Rice, White Tee = Marvin Pleasant. Closest to the Pin = Gale Rhudy.

Wonderful Tournament at Elizabethton!

The tournament at Elizabethton G.C. was probably one of the best this year! I really appreciate all the men and women in this league for helping make this tournament go so smoothly! You guys and gals really stepped up to the plate and hit a home run!!
Thanks again to Miss Debby for the wonderful hot dogs and OH THAT WONDERFUL HONEY BUN CAKE!! Thanks to the staff at Elizabethton also for all the work they have to put out, to make sure things run on time and having the course in great shape!
Closest to the pin winner was Hadley Carter from Fairview! Way to go Hadley!! Long Drive winners were as follows: RED TEES = Lisa Carter, GOLD TEES = Peanut Sells, WHITE TEES = David Miller, BLUE TEES = Ben Carden. Great shots and congratulations!!

Don't know about you guys and I really can take the heat but it was a really hot day at Nolichucky View!! We had some really hot scores also!! Congratulations to Sulphur Springs for the win with a score of 58.
We only had three people to win the long drive and closest to the pin prizes. Long Drive = Jason Hankins from the Black Tees and Mike Larsen from the Gold Tees. Closest to the pin was Angie Peters who was about 6" from the cup!! Great job! Hope everyone is staying cool and hydrated and I'll see you at Elizabethton G.C. Bro. Sammy
On Fire at Buffalo Valley

Man! What a day we had at Buffalo Valley!! Thank you so much Vickie Odundu for the great opening and wonderful testimony! It is so nice to see someone so on fire for the Lord and His work! I was truly blessed and really felt the presence of the Lord at this opening! I just wish we could have just a spark of the fire that is burning inside of Miss Vickie for Jesus!!! Thanks again Vickie and know that our prayers for you and the work you are doing are being prayed daily!!
There was a firey score shot by Sulphur Springs Baptist Church also! They scored a sizzling 56 and won the tournament! Congratulations on a great round! The following people won prizes for long drives and closest to the pin; John Jaynes, Ray Renfro, Jeff Bolton, Wade Whitson, Bob Kesterson, Tank Williams and E. Anderson. You will be able to pick up your gifts at the tournament at Nolichucky View. If you have won any of the prizes and haven't picked them up, please see me!

Hey Guys and gals! What a wonderful day and turnout the Lord gave us at Andrew Johnson! Wow! I really thought that we may be rained out but I guess we know who is in control of the weather, don't we!!!!!!!! I really appreciate all of you for helping this tournament go so smoothly! Especially Steve Sproles and Debby Harper! Thanks a bunch!
Congratulations to Brown Springs who won on a score card playoff with Celebration! They both scored a sizzling 59! Way to go guys!!!!! The winners of the closest to the pin and long drive holes are as follows: AM group = Closest to Pin,Red Tees = Angie Peters, White Tees = Eddie Cinkous, Gold Tees = J Ferrell, Blue Tees = Bob Kesterson. Long Drive, Gold Tee = Johnny Rice, Red Tee = Marilyn Martin, White Tee = Mike Larsen. I received no marker for long drive from the Blue Tees. PM Closest to pin = Blue Tee = Nathan Lowe, Gold Tee = Joe Johns, White Tee = Mike Larsen, Red Tee = Marilyn Martin.
